- As a self proclaimed "pack rat", I enjoy rummaging through surplus, thrift, and antique stores or auctions looking for inspiration for the next sculpture. People have commented that they wouldn't have thought someone that looks like me; a middle aged wife and mother of grown children would be the same person who loves working with drills, grinders, and lathes to transform discarded machine shop scrap metal into sculptures. Through symbolism, my art reflects my personal contemporary views regarding social issues and politics, versus patriotism and religion.
